Support Future Wilderness in North Carolina

For the first time since the early 1990's, the public has a chance to to influence Forest Service recommendations for additional wilderness on the Pisgah and Nantahala National Forest. As a part of the Forest Plan revision for 1.2 million acres of federal forest land in North Carolina, the US Forest Service recently released its updated inventory of potential wilderness areas, totaling over 300,000 acres. In order to protect wilderness lands, the Forest Service needs to hear from you.
